Welcome to the 2007 Spirit Paddle Perth World Cup of ocean racing, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Spirit Paddle Sports for there generosity and support for the upcoming ocean racing spectacular.

In 2007 we will see a few changes the first being that the Crossing from Rottnest Island to Sorrento SLSC race will be on Saturday 8 of December. The crossing will be the Spirit Paddle World Cup race and will be the major event of the weekend, so no points as in previous years. The race will be started between 1 -2.30pm (Please keep in mind daylight saving will have started) and depending on weather conditions we would suggest all competitors be on the Island and registered before 12.30pm

Fenn will be suppling 2 x $1000.00US Hot Spots for this event!!

The 2 nd race will be run in the Fremantle to North Cottesloe area the course will be finalised over the coming weeks so stay tuned – but please don’t take this race lightly as there will be cash and 1 x $1000.00US Fenn Hot Spot up for grabs. Presentations for the weekend of racing will be directly after this event, at the prestigious Ocean Beach Hotel (or OBH for locals). We are looking forward to drinking a few quiet Gage Road beers at this venue!

Travel to Rottnest with your craft

Travelling to Rottnest Island will be a breeze this year with our partner Oceanic Cruises. You must let reservations know that you will be travelling with a Ski and that you are part of the Spirit Paddle World Cup to receive the discounts. We suggest you book ASAP as the Swim through Rottnest is on the same day!!

Adult one way from Fremantle - $24.00 per person

Adult one way from Perth - $29.00 per person

Skis will cost $8.00

This price includes the Government admission fees for Rottnest Island.

Time table

Ex Fremantle - Departs: 9.30am, 10.00am, 11.30am

Ex Perth - Departs: 10.00am (arriving 12noon)
